About Liz
Rhodebeck
Liz Rhodebeck is a freelance feature writer for Lake Country
Publications in Hartland, Wisconsin, with articles appearing in 30
West, Living on the Lake, and Metro Parent West, as well as
writing the weekly Pewaukee News column in the Lake Country Reporter
newspaper. Prior to that, she worked as a feature writer for CNI
Newspapers in suburban Milwaukee. Liz also does some editing and
webcopy for private clients. For the past nine
years, she has been a facilitator at the annual Creative Writing
Festival for high school students at the University of
Wisconsin-Whitewater, which attracts 600-800 students every year
from all over Wisconsin and the Chicago area. She has taught
creative writing workshops for elementary and middle school
students, and will teach a journal writing class for adults in the
fall of 2010.
An accomplished poet, Liz has published poems
in state and national journals, and is active in poetry programs in
